As we keep highlighting the new features in iOS 7 beta 2 which was released from a few hours to developers, today we've got a new feature to talk about which is Siri. Apple’s snarky digital assistant. Not only has it gotten smarter, but in beta 2 the virtual secretary received new voice templates. You can now choose from a male or female voice in several languages…

When Apple demonstrated Siri during the iOS 7 portion of its WWDC keynote, it mentioned that it had given the assistant new, more realistic-sounding voices. And true, they sounded great, but they were not present in the initial beta of the new operating system.

They are, however, available in the 2nd beta. And just as they did on stage, they sound great. I think the female voice sounds more genuine than the male voice, but they both tend to have slip ups where they revert to sounding like robots. I’m sure they’ll get better.

Check out this video:
Apple really focused very well on Siri and made it more smarter than before, there is one can say except this..We are not done yet, so try to keep yourself updated with us for more new features in iOS 7 beta 2...

Siri In iOS 7 Got Better At Pronouncing Names

A lot of things in iOS 7 got updated and some of them got more better and smarter, we've already seen a lot of features like the new Auto-Correct feature and etc... At WWDC 2013 Siri received a new important update making Siri can initiate an important learning process of sorts so whenever it has  troubles understanding your pronunciation of a person’s name…
But there’s one aspect of Siri that has seen little changes since her inception: inaccurate pronunciation of certain names. But no more. Although not specifically addressed during the WWDC 2013 keynote, it’s been discovered that Siri can now initiate a learning process of sorts whenever it has trouble understanding your pronunciation of a person’s name…

So from now on, all what you have to do is telling Siri a name she doesn't know and you will find her apologizing to you and asking for help.

According to a new report from the folks at 9to5mac, Siri offers two versions of what it thinks the the name should be pronounced.

You can choose either of them as standard, which will force her to use that pronunciation going forward.
In addition, we have found that you can simply say, “That’s not how you pronounce [any name]” and Siri will go through the learning process.
Like before, you can also type in the phonetic spelling manually. The feature appears to be iOS 7-specific.
I tried to use this feature on my iPhone running on iOS 7, but unfortunately Siri kept crashing my device and I couldn’t take my own screenshots (one of the wonders of beta software). This is no doubt a much-needed improvement, even more so given how Siri typically struggles with recognizing non-English contacts when asking her to call or text a person from your address book.
Siri in iOS 7 can turn on flashlight for you (also accessible from the Control Center), turn on Bluetooth, return calls, change the screen brightness, control iTunes Radio, play back your voicemail and more.

iOS 7 users can also change between a male and female voice and get inline results from more sources like Bing, Wikipedia and Twitter without sending you to a browser.

So what do you think about this new feature in Siri, have you already tried it ?

A huge amount of improvements Siri is getting in iOS 7, most likely the majority out of any stock app / service in Apple’s updated mobile OS.

The supporter, in iOS 7, acquires a novel appearance, a new sound and new functions…  Currently, the interface fades into view and sits atop of your screen (over any running app), and speaks to you in a clearer, more natural-sounding voice, female or male…  From additional sources (such as Bing, Wikipedia, and Twitter), it fetches information for you and answers questions faster…  More and more, the helper can do such as play voicemail, control iTunes Radio, and even return calls…   At the rate this is going Siri in iOS 8 will also act as a representative on your behalf.
