The latest betas of iOS 7 include options to control the operating system with movements of the head. Discovered by a tipster for 9to5mac, the features rely on the front-facing camera to track the head and other small movements in order to control applications and the OS.
Actually using the feature is somewhat cumbersome, as it cycles through the various on-screen options. While it won’t replace the traditional touchscreen input for most users, those with disabilities will certainly benefit from this inclusion in to iOS. Accessibility is an area that Apple has traditionally been a leader in, and it appears that they are interested in maintaining that role.
