Russia-based YouTube user Rozetked has published a video of what he claims to be the tablet-optimized version of Apple’s upcoming iOS 7 operating system running on an iPad. It is currently unclear if this video is demonstrating a legitimate version of the upcoming operating system and, if legitimate, how the software was obtained and installed…

Based on what Apple has shown for the iPhone and iPod touch version of iOS 7, and based on the user-interface elements of previous versions of iOS for the iPad, the video does look like an accurate representation of what iPad users can expect from iOS 7 this fall. Apple is yet to seed the iPad version of iOS 7 to developers, as the company has focused development (so far) on the iPhone version, as we reported in May.
Notably, user-inteface elements such as in the Music app seem to be akin to the brief stills of the iPad iOS 7 Music app shown on Apple’s website and during the WWDC 2013 kickoff keynote. Additionally, unlike with the screenshots from the tweaked iPad iOS 7 simulator, the Control Center and Notification Center interfaces seem to be optimized for the larger tablet screen. Additionally, matching the iPad’s software and hardware, the Control Center shown in the above video lacks the iPhone-exclusive LED Flashlight and Calculator functions.
