How to enable tethering on your iPhone on iOS 7 / 6 without Jailbreaking

It turns out that Joe, the same that has been providing the Carrier Update modified for our iPhone, has now released a tutorial on how to enable Tethering iOS 7 / iOS 6 on the iPhone without Jailbreaking taking place.

With Jailbreak everything is easier, you can install Cydia and MyWi or TetherMe or any alternative of your choice and start without Jailbreak But we have no access to Cydia and therefore, if not pay for a plan that includes tethering, we will not have this option. I will not give more laps, I’ll start with the small tutorial quickly but not before without a release of liability.

Things you will need:

• iTunes 11 or higher installed on your Mac or PC
• iBackupBot [ Mac / Windows ]
• Your iPhone with iOS iOS 6 or iOS 7 installed without Jailbreak

Step 1:

On your Mac / PC goes to iTunes, connect your iPhone and make a backup copy of your computer on. Users who have enabled iCloud on your iPhone may never have made a backup on iTunes.

Step 2:

• Install iBackupBot, then you open it and ignore any error that appears while it opens. [Cancel, Continue, Ignore]
• Backups then searches the left, the most recent Backup you have done on your computer. Once you touch it, it expands the contents by clicking the plus sign (Windows) or> (Mac).

Step 3:

• Among the files, search on “ System Files> SystemPreferencesDomain> SystemConfiguration “  and give it a right click (Right Click) on the file that says “preferences.plist “  and select “Open With Built-in editor “

• Once at the code you will begin to scroll down until you find the line of the APN that has to do with your cellular provider. You’ll be inspired by a line that says:

Step 4:

Once you are done editing, save the file and go to iTunes to give “Restore from Backup”.You have to choose the backup you just edited, you should be fine.

It is important to know that this procedure could freeze your computer and have to force you to do a restore via iTunes. Also, users who have unlimited data plan could result in the cancellation of the same automatically by the company. Every company requires you to pay for an additional tethering plan.
