Yesterday, FanaticFone shared some of the first leaked images of the 5th generation iPad’s rear shell, and today some more photos are streaming in from the same site with photos that display the iPad mini‘s rear shell – and its new embedded Apple logo.

The photos demonstrate some of the assumed features of the next-generation iPad mini, including a camera, lightning port, volume buttons, and slots for speakers. Interestingly here, though, is that this shell appears to align almost perfectly with the current-generation iPad mini. The embedded logo is worth mentioning because this is a difference in comparison to the current iPad mini’s printed-on mirror logo.
The next-generation iPad mini is expected to be apart of Apple’s “very busy fall” so stay tuned as we go into these exciting end-of-year announcements.
